Ohio Lumber to Add 16,000 sq. ft. Expansion Featuring Indoor Lumber Yard

Huntsville, Ohio – Ohio Lumber and Building Supply announced today their plans to add a new 16,000 sq. foot expansion to their facilities in Huntsville, Ohio. The new enclosed lumber yard building will house the entire treated lumber inventory and expanded inventory of windows, doors, as well as additional premium building materials.

“This is a very exciting day for Ohio Lumber!” says manager Jeff Ramsey. “We are now going to be able to house our entire treated lumber inventory under one roof which translates into improved quality and performance of our lumber.”

The new steel and concrete building has been in the making for the past few years because of Ohio Lumber’s goal of expanding its product lines and services to meet the needs of today’s contractor. “We recognize that the big box stores may advertise cheaper prices, but you could get inferior materials and service.  The contractors we work with want the best materials and the best price. Our new building will assist us do both, says assistant manager Rick Zedeker.

The building project was announced today at Ohio Lumber’s 5th Annual Customer Appreciation Lunch which brought a crowd of over 100 people to see the new building and also learn from many vendors and supplier demonstrations.
